The venue for this residential workshop will be the High Leigh Conference Centre in Hoddesdon, situated just north of London, seven miles from junction 28 of the M25 and near the Lee Valley Regional Park. The nearest rail station, just two miles away at Broxbourne, benefits from a frequent service from London Liverpool Street (journey time about half an hour).
The workshop starts on Friday evening and ends on Sunday afternoon. The weekend workshop is for anyone who wants help with their recovery from a broken significant relationship.
Set in 40 acres of lawns, parkland and woodland, with sports facilities, High Leigh offers the opportunity to get the most from the workshop in special surroundings. This will be our first time at this venue, but the workshop will be run on the same lines as the other tried and tested residential and local workshops that have been run regularly across the country for nearly 25 years.

The workshop consists of 6 sessions, each introduced by a half hour DVD followed by small group discussion. The themes covered include ‘Dealing with your ex’, ‘Family matters’, ’Assuming new responsibilities’, ‘Letting go and forgiveness’, and ‘New relationships’. All those involved in running the workshop, including the coordinator, facilitators and helpers, have experienced divorce or the breakdown of a significant relationship and have previously attended a Divorce Recovery Workshop.
The full cost of the workshop including single en-suite accommodation, meals and the workshop is £250. Other options are available including non-residential attendance for £150.
