Reading Workshop

People suffering the emotional pain of divorce or separation often seek help in early autumn – the post holiday, let’s get sorted, time of year, or just after Christmas when relationships come to a head.

CHILD-CUSTODY-RIGHTS-IN-A-DIVORCE-PROCESS[1]Wokingham-based national charity Divorce Recovery Workshop is offering help with its Reading course aimed at people in Berkshire and south Oxfordshire. It runs over two weekends, usually, starting on Friday evening and continuing on Saturday.

The course is at Brookside Hall, Brookside Close, Earley RG6 7HG.

Anne of Reading who attended a DRW course and now helps the charity said: ‘We are here to help. DRW has a proven track record’.

‘After my divorce I struggled to come to terms with bewilderment, loss, anger, bitterness and betrayal. It’s a horrible, tough, awful time. DRW showed me a way through. I never imagined I could live life to the full again’.

The sessions start with a warm welcome, cups of tea or coffee and include the topics:-

Is this really happening to me? Coping with your ex-spouse, Assuming new responsibilities, Letting go and forgiveness, Family matters’ and Thinking about new relationships.

Our next course will commence on Fri evening 6th and Sat 7th April continuing the following Fri evening 13th and finishing Sat 14 April, co-ordinated by John Kemp who is a founder trustee of DRW
