Fair Processing (Privacy) Notice

This notice tells you why we need your personal information, what we will do with it, and how we will take care of it

We need to know your contact details and other information you give us when you enrol/participate, so that Divorce Recovery Workshop UK (the Data Controller) can administer and provide you with a service (Divorce Recovery Workshops).

We are allowed (under Data Protection law) to process your information within certain conditions. We are processing your personal information for the performance of a contract.  Where you give us special category data (particularly sensitive under GDPR) we process it because you have given your explicit consent

We will take all reasonable measures to keep your information safe.

We will not process it outside of the UK, apart from your online (email and website) communications with us which may be processed in the USA by Mailchimp

We will not share your information with anyone outside of DRW UK unless we are required to do so by law. And internally, only the people who need to see it will be allowed to access it.

We will only keep enough information to provide services and meet our legal responsibilities. We will only keep it for as long as is necessary. Where you do not attend a workshop, this would normally be up to 6 months after your enquiry. Where you do attend a workshop this would normally be for up to 2 years after the workshop ends. Financial information may be retained for up to 7 years.

If any of your information changes, please let us know so that we can keep it accurate.

If we need to change something (E.g who we want to share the information with) we will contact you first.

Your Rights

You may request to see a copy of the personal information we hold about you. Data Protection laws also provide you with (in certain circumstances) other rights regarding your information including: the correction of inaccurate data; objection to processing; restriction of processing; getting it deleted.
